It need not be bigger than close observation requires or stretch back further in time than when it was created fully formed by pure will in 4004 BC. If, as is plausible for the plot, the demonverse reality was created by an earth centered god then why would it be as big as our cosmology requires?
There is an estimated 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in our universe. If the Demonverse was truly that big would trapping a few tens of greater demons destroy it? Yes, maybe if our planet was the only one that mattered but God would not wast so much space.
