Hello All,
Dale and I have been communicating about the recent problems with the Forum here at pspowerbooks.com. It has been decided to retire the Forum and move all author & conversational interactions over to Patreon.
Over the next week or so, I'll be closing down the Forum and creating redirects to start funneling visitors of the Forum over to that URL (the main website showing all the books will be staying).
Thank you everyone for your participation on the Forum these past several years! See you on Patreon!!

p.s. Sorry about all of the coding errors. They reset nightly these days and I can't keep up with changing the code that often...

Did anyone get copies of the books yet? I sent email about a day ago but have not heard anything yet.

Re: Update on the latest book!
Sorry to disappoint. Not really a catalog of guns. However, in a survival situation where people are trying to eat you, carrying protection is probably a good idea. Given that that was the 1 star review, I figured as much. Search Amazon for Walking in the Rain under author William Allen. I'll be th...

Re: What to read while waiting for the next P.S. Power book
Argie, I don't know why anybody would pull off Amazon unless there was an estate issue over who had rights to the intellectual property once the author has died. A writer who I liked over at Baen Books had a dispute with management resulting in all his books being pulled. Then he died, with a recen...

Re: Well, It looks like the good times are over!
For me, the reward would not be the book itself but getting access to it early. This would be particularly relevant for big five based publishers since the delay between rough draft complete and general availability is a longer longer for them then it is for indies generally. For example, if I was w...

Re: Well, It looks like the good times are over!
I think there are both rules (TOS) and laws. If you followed the links, you can see that the NY State Attorney General actually prosecuted a number of companies, as did Florida. Or are you referring to the fact that these come from the FTC vs congress? Or possibly even from false advertising statute...

Re: Well, It looks like the good times are over!
I know that fake reviews solicited by a company or author are illegal, but I think fake reviews solicited by a competitor are illegal as well. Even if they are, one would likely need to prove that they are fake. For example, the reviewer never actually read the book at all, the reviewer is somebody ...

Re: Well, It looks like the good times are over!
You have no way to state that the two reviewers aren't related, or the same person even. Or hired by the same person. (To be fair, I don't know that either.) Not responding... Well, that means nothing. Do people even check the comments on their old reviews? Responding could mean anything as well. A...

Re: Well, It looks like the good times are over!
Ok, just caught up with the latest after my drop off to school. Read the latest posts, then had to look at the latest reviews. The Ron in question, is NOT ME. If the intention was to imply it was, then it was definitely underhanded and should be looked into, and sucks the big one. Dale, although I ...

Re: Well, It looks like the good times are over!
That is odd. I had just checked the same thing and saw that the scene was not included in the look inside as well. Like you said, they are not listed as verified purchasers like most of the other reviewers either. That pretty much has to mean one of the following: 1 There is some other loophole here...

Re: Well, It looks like the good times are over!
No I don't see that I've said anything a bit off. If I did, I wouldn't have said it in the first place, right? What about read for free with kindle unlimited or try it free? Do you get notified of those as well? I can see you getting notified for read for free, but not for try it for free. That mean...
