I repeat, it is a go! The book is now live!

And bought . Whats the next book in your writing schedule?

Patriot Smith Book Two: American Insurgency

I've already started it. Then I think it will be the new Nicole Lawson (if I feel like it. That's the porn stuff, so you know... Mainly a writing exercise.)

After that will probably be one of the following:

1. Book Two of the new Keeley Thomson Trilogy.
2. The last of the Mirror Man trilogy.
3. The new three book project, since I need one for this year.
4. The new Tor Baker book.

I also have other ideas on tap, of course. Including, with various degrees of seriousness...

5. A book on strange abilities and powers you can learn to use. (That actually work!)
6. The second Supernatural Romance book. (Since it's a series.)
7. A Holiday themed piece, since I've missed a year or two on those... (Pick a holiday! I'm actually thinking it's time for a mainstream short Christmas story...)
8. A new time travel story, where a man from the future (or possibly a woman? Maybe someone Trans, but from the future? That might be interestingly different.) come to the present seeking a better life, ending up being recruited into a crime syndicate, using their knowledge of future events to attempt to control the world.
9. Grilled Cheese: Where Sauteing Meets Perfection. (I just have to be able to do it as a picture book, obviously! Technically a cookbook, it will showcase the world's most perfect food, using a serious tone, a loving deference to high level skill and off course, lots of cheese!

Clearly I have a lot of other ideas to work from. Many, many ideas! The issue is having enough time to get things done...

Not sure if you know or not, or if it's just me, but I'm not able to buy or use KU to get this book. No purchase or rent option is available.

Edit: Make that "none" of your books have a purchase option I checked all of them, there isn't a buy or KU option available.

Okay, it's working now. I called customer support, and they reset your books and now their purchasable again.

That is very strange! Hopefully that isn't the case for everyone...

Anyone else have that happening?

I'm making book sales, so it isn't everyone. That said, I'd hate to find that there was some kind of bug happening that limited people being able to get things. It shows up fine for me... But then it would. (Amazon shows authors different things than they do everyone else. Which is incredibly complex and a bit dark, if you think about it.)

You really nailed it with Fletcher. I loved everything about the story, from the characters to the magical system and the storyline itself. Anders is a bit of a tool but you got to the root of that issue without making it too obvious. He's only 12, he's self-absorbed, and...well, no spoilers. Great overall effort.

As for what next, I'd love to see the next Keely book, and another romance in the Snowbound Nomad universe would be very welcome as well. If you could tie into that first book to give us an update, that would be well received from at least one reader.

The next book in the Romance series WILL tie in. (While having new characters, as the mains, since that is the rule for Romance novels. Always happily ever after means one book per couple!)

There is something "interesting" happening with Fletcher. (Possibly all of my books right now.) I can't prove it, but I have a lot of evidence lining up to show a bit of "throttling" as far as book sales go. Probably because I put out things like Patriot Smith...

We are looking at the beginning of a real issue here, societally. It will probably arise over the next years, not days or weeks. We still need to be ready.

*I expect major happenings before November. Including things in about two weeks to fifteen days in several cities.

**How does this relate? It doesn't. Sorry about that. I'll be writing up something more official soon on the topic. That seven people will read. Actually, I might do a book...

Well---I love forward to the next book, no matter what it is.

Don't know about throttling, but Amazon has been darned slow about updating people who are 'following' me and probably you as well. This may be, and probably is, affecting sales if some readers are relying on the algorithm to tell them when the new product is available. Whatever. Skynet is my friend. Keep saying it over and over.

I know there's been some shakeup over at Amazon/Kindle Unlimited as two prolific LITRPG authors have been tossed. Banned from Amazon. I hate to report rumors, but I did check and all the books from both authors mentioned are no longer for sale at the 'Zon. How do I know this? 'Cause LITRPG is one of my many guilty pleasures!

I could wish for a bit more transparency from Amazon.

Still, the real point is to put out stories that people, hopefully, will find helpful, entertaining and possibly something to think about.

I can't control Amazon or their rules directly. While I would love a fair and even playing field, the truth is that I can get by without one. Not everything is always fair, after all.

Won't they be surprised when I shake off that part of things and keep moving forward anyway?
