Oh I agree Ron but these are books that he has already released once. A box set with the header "With bonus content" at a good price would probably sell pretty well. I often buy a box set that I was on the fence about buying as singles. It's cheaper and it's convenient. I also think he should get the zombie theme in there somehow. Zombie books sell well and unless you look into it you don't even know that this story has them. I would change the box set cover art to something that shows that theme and adds the info discussed.
Dale has said he doesn't like prequels. But if he were to do a novella of 50 pages or so and release it for a buck at the same time as the release of the box set it would probably generate some decent sales as well. It would be nice to release it shortly before the box set but people have a short attention span and want things right now. Any delay to that instant gratification would cause some to move on or forget about it. Again the zombie theme should be prominent on the cover and a lead in for the box set with bold letters should be at the end. (The novella could cover Jake fighting off the parents and then the struggle to get to the farm)
Oh and since this is the scotch forum....last night I enjoyed a quarter glass of the wonderfully peated 10 yr old Ledaig. Friends are reminded that Argy's lounge has this and many other Scottish Treasures on hand behind the bar. See you there!
