Hello All,

Dale and I have been communicating about the recent problems with the Forum here at pspowerbooks.com. It has been decided to retire the Forum and move all author & conversational interactions over to Patreon.

Over the next week or so, I'll be closing down the Forum and creating redirects to start funneling visitors of the Forum over to that URL (the main website showing all the books will be staying).

Thank you everyone for your participation on the Forum these past several years! See you on Patreon!!

p.s. Sorry about all of the coding errors. They reset nightly these days and I can't keep up with changing the code that often... :(

Greetings scotch fans! Tonight we're going to take a look at whats in the mail bag.

Trevor from Bismark North Dakota asks: Twips whats the cheapest single malt scotch I can get that's still tasty? Hmm good question Trevor...I would say your best bet would be Macgavin's which runs about 25 dollars a bottle (750ml). Depending on your taste buds you can get it in Islay (Lots of peat) Highland (fruity) and Speyside which is middle of the road.

Anastasia from San Francisco CA asks: Twips did Argy really climb those mountains and was Marica really a Olympic volleyball player? Ana Here in the fast moving world of the PS Power forums it's hard to keep track of specific details but we do our best to give you the facts as I see them.

Jen from Hatch NM asks: Twips you've mentioned your daughter from time to time does she ask you to stay out of sight when her boyfriend comes over? Well I'm not really sure what you're implying Jen...But as a matter of fact a young man came to the door just the other day. He was like "Oh hello Mr Twips...I was ummm wondering ummm if ummmm while he stepped from one foot to the other. It was like watching one of those things people have on their desks that swing the little metal balls back and forth. I continued to watch him with raised eyebrows while he attempted to ask his question and was wondering the whole time if he was about to have some kind of interesting episode.. Unfortunately he suddenly decided that he was going to come back later. So I closed the door.

I enjoy your emails scotch fans and don't worry I'll get to your question sooner or later. As always thanks to Argy's for hosting us and have a good night! :)

Nice Argy! Wish I could listen to each one but my computer is on it's last legs and I can only check the forum in safe mode...no sound. I ordered a new one but it will be a few weeks before i get it. Look forward to coming back and checking out each one.

Hello everyone :) Finally got the the new computer set up and running. I went with windows 7 again as I wasn't all that impressed with windows 8. The worst part of it wasn't anything to do with setting the computer up. I decided to give my office a good cleaning first and was amazed to find how much stuff I had accumulated...I kinda felt like a mini hoarder. I'll Be back later with some scotch news.

Sad news scotch fans :( Specs which is the store I go to shop my scotch in will no longer be carrying Macgavin's Islay scotch. Macgavin's has been my nice price go to scotch and it's going to be hard to find a replacement. Please observe a few moments of silence on behalf of a fine scotch that's no longer with us. In other news I had to have the ac guy come out today and put some freon on in the thing (small leak somewhere). The whole process takes about 10 minutes and costs like 200 dollars. I'm in the wrong line of work! To add insult to injury we went up into my attic to check the rest of the unit and found that my roof was leaking......again. I spent 600 bucks fixing a 5 year old roof last year and it still leaks. My parents house was built before Rome fell and it never leaked. So how was your day?

Awww Twips! Sorry to hear about your roof AND ac, and to top it off your go to brand being pulled. What a sad day it must be for you!

Good news scotch fans! My friend at specs managed to find a case of Macgavin's at one of the other stores and had it shipped over. We are now stocked up for almost any situation to include hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes, nuclear attack, fried shrimp, broiled shrimp, blackened shrimp, shrimp cocktail, shrimp creole, shrimp scampi ....Sorry was watching Forest Gump earlier.
