Alternate Places: The "new" book series coming out next.

Why is this here? Why, because the main Character is Zack Hartley.

But not the Zack you know.

There are an infinite number of realities, for each person there are untold numbers of others that are much like them, but... aren't.

In a different world, a young man, close to starving, seeks work at the Underwood mall, arriving via a rift in space, to find that the people there aren't exactly what they at first seem.
And from that point on, everything you thought you recognized about the world of Zack Hartley goes sideways!

There are three books, though the series is unfinished at this point. (I might do that if people like it?)

*There is a lot more graphic sex, and violence in these novels than the other Zack has in his. They're in editing right now, so if you want to take a peek at them before they publish, keep your eyes trained here, on this space. (Or, you know, check sometime next wee or so.)

**The third book is about the new Line Walkers, who aren't Demons at all. Staring Kaitlyn Swanson. It's very, very different!

I'm thinking (hoping) that these books are sort of" Zack-uncensored" done by Dale before the polished works were brought out to the genteel readership (read prudes). I'm really looking forward to them, all three! I'm also hoping Mr. Power doesn't over polish them, I like the style he used in the early Young Ancients book, the dark and dirty or at least highly sensual writing. At least that's what I'm expecting. (As I slowly wipe the drool from my chin.)

Well... I certainty didn't remove any sex scenes or the darker aspects of this. It isn't all "Grim Dark" or anything, not at all, but I'm sure that more than one person will accuse me of writing some kind of soft core porn. Twisted, twisted supernatural porn...



It's not that bad though. What I'm working on with the rewriting is showing more than telling. I have to say that it's a little tell heavy, even now. I'm getting some of the editing done now and will go back over it all again before everyone get's a crack at it. mainly adding more descriptive scenes and taking a few more long paragraphs telling people what was said and turning them into speech. NOt all of them though. That's part of the story. You'll see.
