Hello All,
Dale and I have been communicating about the recent problems with the Forum here at pspowerbooks.com. It has been decided to retire the Forum and move all author & conversational interactions over to Patreon.
Over the next week or so, I'll be closing down the Forum and creating redirects to start funneling visitors of the Forum over to that URL (the main website showing all the books will be staying).
Thank you everyone for your participation on the Forum these past several years! See you on Patreon!!

Re: What to read while waiting for the next P.S. Power book
Ok, so I'm rereading some of the titles I've collected, waiting for the 15th and Dale' s next. So I looked at Jim Butcher's Dresden Files; checked out how many I've missed, and their cost. Holy Crap! I kind of stopped following at 6 - got distracted, and prices went up. Now there are 14,and several mini episodes. But the pricing? Complete 14 book set - $106.46!!! Partial set? 7 books $53.23. Individual books? Any where from $2.99 to $15 bucks. Mini books? How about 34 pages for $ 2.99! The first priced higher than the latest(# 14- $5.99 at 640 pages.) Whole thing makes no sense. Sorry Mr. Butcher no sale. I liked his style, got off on the series, but ta-ta, Jim, I'll wait for a fire-sale or some semblance of sanity in pricing.
Any thoughts, anyone?

To be fair, it's not simply Penguin, Amazon's own thing sets weird prices. If you look at Dale's books after he stopped setting the prices himself, you'll see them ranging anywhere from .99 for a full half series, to 2.99 to 6.99 for single books.
The only time I absolutely will not buy from a 'publisher' is when they charge more for the kindle than they do for the paper back, since paperback isn't out yet, the kindle is actually cheaper for Skin Game on the dresden series.
But I do suggest, Nightlord: Sunset. I just finished it the other day, and I was as blown away by it as I was by the Blackjack.
