Hello All,
Dale and I have been communicating about the recent problems with the Forum here at pspowerbooks.com. It has been decided to retire the Forum and move all author & conversational interactions over to Patreon.
Over the next week or so, I'll be closing down the Forum and creating redirects to start funneling visitors of the Forum over to that URL (the main website showing all the books will be staying).
Thank you everyone for your participation on the Forum these past several years! See you on Patreon!!

What to read while waiting for the next P.S. Power book
Re: What to read while waiting for the next P.S. Power book
So... I just read all of the Kia books. I have to say. I loved the first. The second was okay. The third started to fall back and the fourth. Just depressed me. Its hard to reconcile the spunkey twelve year old demanding criminal charges, and concessions, with the almost twenty year old that lets the people that supposedly love and care for her, heap on humilation, after abuse, after pain. Even her relationship with Eva, went into some weird place of domination/submission.
In all honesty, the fourth book could very well have been written by Connie Suttle. Anyone that has read her books know her basic premise. Heroine with godlike obscene power, check. Mega magic girl. Constant self esteem issues of worthlessness. Check. Generally used, abused, mistreated, tortured by those that claim to love her and constantly told it is for her own good? Check. When the slightest bit of backbone is shone, everyone jumps on her for standing up for herself and claim she is being selfish and uncaring for not accepting the humilation and pain? Check. One single page of super heroine ability near the end that still leaves her half dead? Check. In other words... book four just really really really disappointed me.
