What to read while waiting for the next P.S. Power book

All characters are over the age of 18, except the aforementioned reincarnation of an ancient European warlord. That gets sketchy.

Waited sooo long for that new Emily book. Awesomesauce now that I have finished it. I totally demand the next one. Need more prolific ku authors or authors that do reasonable prices for ebooks. Much too many under 200 page books out there for 4.99+

So here are my Nuttal Suggestions.
Emily books (schooled in magic), there are politics of course, but it doesn't get bogged down in them like some of his series IMO. More so because Emily hates politics and the books are from her viewpoint.
The first three ark royal books have good action, I gave up on that series at book four.
The first Angels in the whirlwind was okay, the second isn't out yet. It had politics, but again the main character tried to avoid them.

It's hard to completely get away from it, but the above series don't have any current Earth politics like the book you quoted, just the ones he made up for new or advanced worlds etc...

I dont read alot of scifi as a rule so I have no idea what that book was like. His schooled in magic series basically has the main character ripped from modern day earth to a kingdom style fantasy world of magic. What politics there are spoken about, is usually just a person pointing out what we all know from history. Monarchies tend to die wickedly horrific deaths when the common man can better himself. Its not preachy in the slightest. I also have his wizard of london books. Not a big fan of those even thoughbi bought them all. Same for the book worm series. But I love the schooled in magic series.

Key to magic series book one being Orphan. Starts out kinda slow but has alot of promise.

Yeah Korwin, I pretty much mirror your reaction. I've never found much enjoyment in listeninnng to narration. My imagination does a much better job. Perhaps if the story were presented as a play, with different voices for each character, it would help, at least for me. As far as the sex scenes go, the first read through is okay, sometimes even, um... Self gratifying? Depending on the author's ability. But any subsequent readings, I usually just skip through, too.
