Hello All,

Dale and I have been communicating about the recent problems with the Forum here at pspowerbooks.com. It has been decided to retire the Forum and move all author & conversational interactions over to Patreon.

Over the next week or so, I'll be closing down the Forum and creating redirects to start funneling visitors of the Forum over to that URL (the main website showing all the books will be staying).

Thank you everyone for your participation on the Forum these past several years! See you on Patreon!!

p.s. Sorry about all of the coding errors. They reset nightly these days and I can't keep up with changing the code that often... :(

Yeah, all the way up to 34° woo- hoo ! With the possibility of freezing rain tonight and tomorrow. Any possible vacant homes in your area? Twips, you're cruel.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all have our cross to bear. If I was into skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing or snow shoe-ing. I might try sounding all into winter and how much fun it can be. But I'm too old and broken for any of that anymore. Do love the summers here though, I'm only about 1/4 mile from the nearest boat launch on the Saginaw Bay, but I gave up my boat, when I couldn't put it in any more myself ( that sucked ). Since then we've been talking about finding a more suitable habitat. Haven't really found it yet, but hope to. So enjoy the cool breezes for me, I'll just shiver.

If it helps any Ron I grew up in Minnesota so I'm very aware of how tough winter can be. I have about 5 more years here working my job in Texas and then will return home for good. Actually can't wait to go ice fishing again. My parents couldn't take the winters in Minnesota anymore and spend them in Arizona. You should take a look along the Nevada border there near the Colorado River. I've been out many times to visit and it's nice. It gets hot in the summer but unlike Texas it's a dry heat and doesn't feel so bad.

Yes, Twips, it helps. Knowing frostbite intimately is a great equalizer. My personal dream is to be a sunshine gypsy, and keep following 72° where ever it takes me. Ah well, dreams and opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one; sometimes they just stink and sometimes they're full of sh**. ;)

Hi everyone! I'm happy to report that things went off without a hitch and Dale seems to be pleased with the information he requested. Thank you Ron it gives me great comfort to know that our "friends" are on standby. :) Argy I have finished your assignment as well and ready for the book club.

Whoa..Mailbag got full while I was gone so I guess we can start by knocking that down a bit.

Emma from Yakima Washington asks: Twips whats the difference between a single malt scotch and single grain scotch? Emma a single malt scotch has just water and barley. A single grain scotch refers only to the fact that it was made at a single distiller.. It will have more then one grain. So instead of just water and barley it may use some corn etc added in to make the scotch.

Kia from Selma California asks: Twips does Dale drink scotch? PS. Dale must be busy all the time with how many books he writes how often do you talk with him?
Kia I've seen Dale drink scotch on occasion but I'm not sure what his favorite drink is...I'll ask him next week when I see him and let you know. As to the second part of of your question when your dealing with Dale your dealing with his staff a lot of the time. If it's something good then it's Dale who calls me. If it's bad then it's usually Estrid who calls me. Many of you know Estrid but for those who don't here is a brief run down. Estrid is one of Dale's assistants and a more intimidating women you will not meet. Estrid runs about 6 ft 2 (Former Swedish national volleyball team) has ice blue eyes that could freeze a lake and a body hot enough to melt it. When she calls me it goes something like this...bear with me on the Swedish accent.

Estrid: Twits! Dale is no liking your post earlier.
Twips: First of all Estrid it's Twips not Twits.
Estrid: Shut up Twerps you must be doing better so I am not having to call you.
Twips: Estrid I'm not even sure which post your referring to..maybe we should meet to discuss it.
Estrid: Click!

Hmm...so on to the next question then.

Kevin from Salina Kansas asks: What's a good scotch to start off with? Kevin "Highland Park" which is next up for review by the way has something for everyone and I would recommend giving it a try.

Well Folks that's all we have time for today I look forward to seeing you all at Argy's!

I swear Twips, I am learning more about scotch from you than a teetotaler maybe should! Afraid my head is going to explode or something.
